Well the time has finally come, I am here in Wyoming and it is absolutely amazing far more then I had ever expected it to be. I really am impressed with the shear size and scale of the Grand Tetons Mountain range. It is awe inspiring to see such beauty so close. I am trying to keep this short as I actually lost one full nights worth of shooting last night due to Jet lag. My body was a full 2 hours ahead of local time and by 11:30 I was so exhausted. I didn't actually get to sleep much about 2 hours because I felt guilty for not being out shooting. However I plan to make up for that over the next 3 nights! I did get up at 4am today to shoot Sunrise and I have to say it was spectacular. There is what is known as the Alpine Glow. It is a phenomenon where the light of the sun still below the horizon hits the peaks of the tall mountains and the light slowly moves down the faces. I got some really great shots of it today. Here is a small BTS of what it looks like from where I was standing:
This was taken on my Iphone as my Camera was in the process of taking the more lovely and more attractive images in Higher quality.
I will check back again soon
See you next time!
